I need more help in creating dynamic graphs. The weakness lies in keeping the graph, say a quadratic curve, in a specific limited domain and range, especially range of the function. I have Examvie 6.1

Using the parabola function you can restrict either the domain or range of the function. If you choose (x-h)^2=4a(y-k) you can enter values in the Domain boxes that restrict the x values.
If you choose the (y-k)^2=4a(x-h) you can enter values in the Domain boxes that actually restrict the range of y values. You are correct in that you cannot restrict both x and y. Your only option would be to create 2 inequalities and use the Compound function. |
