Not too sure if this is the correct forum to post this question but I am looking for a commercial question bank for Calculus. I know textbooks usually have these but since I am located in China, they do not want to sell one to me. This is incredibly frustrating, since I work at a Canadian school over here, fully authorised and licensed in British Columbia. It is as though they do not want to make money selling their products. I have been watching eBay for months but no luck so far. Nothing comes up in a search.
I am getting real tired of typing in complicated Calculus questions. If anybody knows of a commercial source, please let me know. Private (i.e. used) or new is fine. Thanks. |

I am also looking for a publisher/commercial source of dynamic calculus questions.
You might look at Educaide Software: http://www.educaide.com/ They sell several testbanks and one of them is for AP Calculus. It is not text specific. The questions are written in TEX and thus can be edited, but they are static. Editing the questions can be a chore, however. Our school looked at Finney, Demana, Waits, Kennedy, Calculus: Graphical, Numerical, Algebraic 3rd Edition, AP* Edition ©2007 and the testbank associated with it: http://www.phschool.com/advanced/correlati...s/calculus.html Although the bank is dynamic and follows the text, I found that I could not edit the questions easily, I did not really like quality of the graphics and creating dynamic questions was not as easy/powerful as EV. In fact, several publishers seem to have very similar banks associated with their calculus texts (from AP & up) and my comments apply to their banks (the ones I've seen) also. So I am back to the drawing board and creating questions using EV. |
