I use ExamView Assessment Suite 6.1.3 for LAN-based testing. Two questions regarding item analysis using ExamView Test Manager:
1. Is there a way to report the actual number of students (not the percentage) who answered a multiple-choice question correctly/incorrectly? For instance, an instructor wants to know "how many students put A, B, C, and D" for a particular question, and I have to hand-compile the information from printed-out tests to do this. 2. When I do an item analysis on an exam made up of matching questions only, the analysis does not tell me which incorrect answers were given; it just provides a percentage who answered correctly. For instance, if the answer to #1 on matching is "A", it will tell me "66.5%" answered correctly but will not give more information. Thank you! |

These options are not possible using ExamView. You would need to use CPS if you wanted to have such detailed reporting. I'm sorry about the inconvenience.
