> Duplicate Tests With Exam View Player, EV Player

When I publish a test to a ExamView Test Player LAN, when the Exam Player goes to retrieve that test, TWO tests are displayed, one with the Title of the test when the test was created and the one published to the Exam View Test Player LAN???

The one published to the LAN requires a password to start (as it should) and the one with the Test Title does not require a password and does not record a score anywhere. It is very confusing.

Why are TWO tests being displayed? Is there some way to stop this or a work around?

Now that the HTML testing site is going away, we are desperate. Thanks.

What are the file extensions of the tests listed in the folder that the Test Player can access?

The only LAN testing files that will allow grades to be gathered are given a *.eot extension.

If you have stored your published LAN tests in the same folder as your regular test files, the EV Test Player will 'see' them all. If the LAN tests were given the same name as the original test file, that would give you two tests that looked the same but act quite differently in the Test Player environment.

I would be happy to help further if you can provide me with some more details, including the version of ExamView you are using and whether you are using Mac or PC versions.

Thanks!
