Have always received students results from Internet exams. All of a sudden, today, I have stopped receiving them. Is there a reason for this? I'm the mail administrator here and I have aleady verified or exange server is up a running perfectly.

There are no indications of email problems on our end. There are several instructor email addresses for your school in our log files, but all log entries indicate the email was delivered successfully. If you are still having trouble, please send email to support@fscreations.com and include the following information:
1) email address used for test results 2) approximate date/time when results were submitted by students 3) approximate number of missing emails |

I have experienced the same thing. I would get the emails on some exams, but not on others. After many hours of follow-up, it boiled down to the email spam filters at the domain hosting server was catching them and send them to the trash. I figured this part out early so I could still get them. I never had the problem and all of a sudden they stopped coming.
I have my own domain name (myname.com), thus I have a hosting company AND they offer filtering at their level. In other words, the email is filtered at the server before you get it on your PC. You may or may not have filtering on the PC. Their algorithm for filtering was quite complex, but the best I could figure, it was killing the email because they all had the same sender and subject line. In effect, this tells the server filter the email was computer generated, as spam is. I never did figure out how the filter algorithm worked, but after playing with it on-and-off persistantly for several weeks, the exam emails now get through. If you are using your university's email the same thing may be occuring. The problem is that you will most likely not get the real support you need as they will answer with the fact a filter is in place and they are not symathetic to your problem. If you have your own domain, access your email via the web and check the preferences and filter and stick with it, it will not be easy. If you are using the school's or something like yahoo, RoadRunner, etc. it will be much more difficult. Try to talk to them via telephone rather than email. Unfortunately, the spammers and the like hurt really great technology like exam view. Of course, this may not be the solution, however, I will bet heavily that this is it or a variation on this line of thinking. I hope this helps. |

This appears to have happened to me today, my question is where does the e-mail go? Normally if there is a problem the client is notified with a bounced mail, but where would exam emails be bounced to?

These emails are bounced back to the ExamView server. If you contact support@fscreations.com they can check the status of your tests.
