> Changes In MC Answers When Uploading Tests To WebCT, enumeration and scrambling

When I put together a multiple-choice test on EV and upload it to Web CT, the following happens: answer choices for all 35 questions are changed from A, B, C, D to 1, 2, 3, 4; the order in which the answer choices are presented is changed; sometimes the first answer presented is "All of the above". You get the idea. This is not a problem when uploading a test to EV for online testing, nor is it a problem when I print out a test. The EV online or printed tests are exactly like what I'm looking at on screen when I put the test together. Needless to say, the problems with uploading to Web CT are very frustrating. What can be done?

This issues of letter answer choices being converted to numbers and unwanted scrambling was corrected with the EV v.6.2 release earlier this year. Send an email to Support describing this issue and request that the new Publish to WebCT file be sent to you. Replacing this file will correct the problem. Or, depending on your current version of ExamView, you may want to simply upgrade the entire application.

Is this the correct version of EV I should download to fix the problem of changing the order of MC questions, using numbers instead of letters for the answers, etc.?

No. You will need to upgrade to EV6.2 or contact Support. That updater link that you are asking about was only for minor updates to certain features for EV 4-5.1.
