Multiple Test Versions

I would like to hear how others are dealing with multiple test versions and plain paper scanning. Is it possible to save the multiple version tests when they are created during printing? Teachers who want to use multiple versions to minimize cheating are now manually scrambling each test and saving each file. The bubble sheet already allows the student to indicate which version of the test they have (up to four).

Any input or suggestions on how to handle multiple versions would be greatly appreciated.

To utilize multiple versions for bubble sheets, you will need to save each version of the test in the test generator when you scramble the questions. You will also need to create an assignment for each version of the test.

A suggestion to consider in creating a solution to this dilemma: When the test is printed and 4 or less versions are chosen, ask the user if a test file needs to be created for this test to be used in Test Manager. If yes, then the questions are saved in a test file to be used specifically with Test Manager. In this file, information is stored that would allow the input from the Test Version bubbles to be used in grading the bubble sheets. I don't think this would be that hard to program into the scoring aspect of the program. An import command could be used to create the assignment in Test Manager.
