Has anyone thought of a clever way to create a truly random stem-and-leaf plot? I'm talking about one in which you don't know how many numbers will be on each row. Numbers from 60 to 99 would be fine.

The attached little bank may serve as a starting point for others to write dynamic stem-and-leaf plot questions. Without arrays, there appears to be no way to combine lists and reliably select values, so the work-around is cumbersome, at best. There are 4 dynamic questions. It would be easy to add more such as “How many students earned an ‘A’ or how many earned an ‘A’ or a ‘B’. By extending the definitions to include scores lower than 50, “How many students failed the test” etc.

I forgot to include the properly formatted data and a “Key” for the stem-and-leaf plots.
